314 Bluestem Way, Fairplay, CO 80440

One wood stove, set on a river-rock surround, can heat this entire log home through the coldest night. Log walls run through all 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 2,016 square feet, and the living room rises to a vaulted ceiling with windows facing the mountains. Step out onto the covered porch and aspens crowd in on every side, with moose, fox, and deer crossing the 2 acres on their own time. Past the trees, open meadow runs to the forest and the quiet takes over. This is Foxtail Pines, just outside Fairplay, for the buyer who came to Colorado to live outside, not look at it.
