Life in Eagle

Eagle is the fast-growing heart of the down-valley — a real, four-season town about 30 miles west of Vail where families find more home for the money and a genuine community feel. It's a nationally known mountain-biking hub, built around Eagle Ranch (a master-planned neighborhood with its own golf course and Main Street), Brush Creek, and quick access to Sylvan Lake and the Eagle River. Sunnier, drier, and more affordable than up-valley, with the regional airport minutes away.

Eagle offers newer single-family homes, townhomes, and condos — many in Eagle Ranch — on bigger lots and at prices well below the resort towns. It's the valley's value and full-time-living market of choice for families and remote workers who want space, sun, and outdoor access with an easy commute up-valley.

Ski access

No local resort, but about 35-40 minutes to Vail and Beaver Creek; Sylvan Lake and Nordic trails nearby.

Golf

Eagle Ranch Golf Club — a well-regarded Arnold Palmer-designed public course in town.

Schools

Eagle County School District — Brush Creek and Eagle Valley Elementary, Eagle Valley Middle; high school minutes away.

Getting here

Just 10-15 minutes from Eagle County Airport (EGE); ~30 miles / 35 minutes west of Vail on I-70.

Recreation

World-class mountain biking (Boneyard, Haymeadow), the Eagle River, Sylvan Lake State Park, town pool & ice rink.

Dining & town

Bonfire Brewing, Grand Avenue Grill, and a walkable Broadway with local shops and a Saturday market.

Preguntas frecuentes

¿Qué escuelas atienden a Eagle?
